Silvestre Uriel Castro, aged 42, passed away on July 17, 2024, in Long Beach, California. Born on April 22, 1982, in Compton, California, Silvestre brought light and love into the lives of everyone he met.

Silvestre had a deep passion for music, which was a constant source of joy and inspiration in his life. His love for church, fellowship, and friends was evident in the way he lived—always with a heart full of kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith. He cherished his relationships and took every opportunity to share his warmth and laughter with those around him.

He is survived by his loving partner, Sam Eman; his devoted mother, Seleta Castillo; and his siblings, Seleta Castro, Samuel Castillo, Sheena Moreno, Secilia Moreno, Casandra Moreno, Sebastian Moreno, Shania Moreno, and Sheila Moreno. Silvestre also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will forever hold his memory in their hearts.

Silvestre’s life was a testament to the power of love, faith, and community. He will be remembered for his gentle spirit, infectious smile, and unwavering commitment to those he loved. Though his time with us was far too short, the impact he made will be felt for generations to come.

A celebration of Silvestre’s life will be held from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm on August 24th, 2024 at 6435 Eastern Ave Bell Gardens Ca, 90201, where family and friends will gather to honor the remarkable person he was.
