Celia Maria Paez Andrade was born on March 17, 1937, in Managua, Nicaragua. She made a brave and hopeful journey to the United States on September 20, 1959, eventually settling in Bell Gardens, California, where she lived the rest of her life.

Celia was deeply cherished by her family and friends. Her unwavering faith was a constant presence throughout her life, guiding her and offering strength to those around her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Paul Andrade, and her son, Patrick Joseph Uva.

Celia leaves behind love and resilience in her son’s and their families: Thomas Patrick Uva, Joseph Edward Uva Enoch, Richard David Uva, their spouses and seven grandchildren.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
